1. About these terms

By using this website or requesting a table, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the online booking form.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other UK consumer law.

2. Who we are

This website is operated by SOBHA BAR AND GRILL LTD, registered in England and Wales (company number 17073202), trading as SoBha. Registered office: 179 Archway Road, London, England, N6 5BN.

3. Using this website

• The site is for personal, non-commercial use: viewing our menu, booking a table, and reading about the restaurant.
• Do not misuse the booking form, attempt to break into staff areas, scrape the site in a way that harms our service, or submit false details.
• Menu descriptions, prices and opening hours are published in good faith. They can change. The prices in the restaurant on the day of your visit apply.
• Photographs are illustrative. A dish may look different when served.
• We may suspend or change the website for maintenance or security without notice.

4. Table reservations

An online request is an offer to book. It is not confirmed until we accept it and email you. We may decline a request if we are full, if the slot is no longer available, or if we reasonably believe the details are incomplete or abusive.

• Please arrive on time. We may release a table if you are substantially late and have not called us.
• Tell us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change guest numbers. Call 020 3468 9777 and quote your booking reference.
• Parties of 9 or more should telephone so we can plan the table. Last seating is 90 minutes before close. We are closed on Mondays.
• Repeated no-shows may lead us to refuse future online bookings.
• We do not take a card deposit through this website. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly before you book.

A booking is a consumer contract for hospitality services. If we cancel a confirmed table for a reason within our control, we will tell you promptly and help you find another time. That does not limit any right you have under consumer law.

5. Food, allergens and drinks

Under the Food Information Regulations 2014 we can tell you about the 14 major allergens used in our kitchen. Please tell us about allergies or intolerances when you book (use “special requests”) and again when you arrive. We handle allergens carefully, but we are not an allergen-free kitchen and cannot guarantee the absence of traces.

Alcohol is served only in line with UK licensing law. We may refuse service to anyone who appears under 18 or who is intoxicated. We apply Challenge 25: if you look under 25 we may ask for photographic ID.

6. Online orders

Delivery and collection orders placed through Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo are contracts with those platforms (and, where their terms say so, with us as the restaurant fulfilling the order). Their terms, privacy notices and refund rules apply to those orders. This website does not take payment for takeaway.

7. Intellectual property

The SoBha name, logo, menu copy, photographs and website design are owned by us or used with permission. You may not copy them for commercial use without written consent. You may share links to our public pages.

8. Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that UK law does not allow us to exclude.

For other losses, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by you (for example giving us the wrong email address or failing to tell us about an allergy).

9. Privacy

How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. That notice forms part of your relationship with us when you book online.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Changes apply to new bookings and to continued use of the website after the update.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring a claim in your local courts.

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
